My parents found a Christmas tree just behind dad's hunting stand. We drove up to Thomasville to cut it down. The tree was interesting to cut down because of the way it had grown out of the ground. It was very cold that day so the experience was a short but memorable one. I love the thought of cutting down a family tree from our land. What a great tradition to start and remember.
