Neely Kate talking with my great grandmother, Mamaw Kate whom she calls memaw. They are sitting on the swing the day after Nene passed away and Mamaw was singing to her. As the commercial says, sitting with generations...priceless.
My sister, Mary Claire joined them on the swing to make a Kodiak moment. Things always get crazy when Mary Claire joins the mix.
This has become a favorite. I was able to capture Neely Kate running up to my Nene's house. We had been playing in the front yard on the bridge. I wish I had had my real camera so the picture could have been larger. Thank goodness there are cell phones with cameras to capture these moments.
