We went to the Plano Balloon Festival this past Friday. This is becoming an annual outing for us. This year was different due to the nonstop rainy weather. The past two years we would watch the balloons inflate and take off leaving before the nightly glow. Because of the quick five minute rainstorm, the balloons did not get set up in time to take off. We got to stay and watch the glow and had a blast. Chris even enjoyed it. I think I enjoyed it more than they did. We left just after 8 to the glow of the balloons. Truly a beautiful site.

Family picture time. Thankfully I ran into a coworker. We never get family pics. Due to the rainy weather, we didn't take our good camera. My cell phone was the only technology we had.
My pregnant belly looks larger here than it actually is.
Do you know how hard it is to capture the light of the balloon and a still family at the same time? This is the best I could do. The glow was short lived at this time since the sun was beginning to set. Neely Kate was more interested in the people arriving with glow sticks than saying cheese.

The fun was had by all. She was soo tired when we left. She managed to have enough energy to push a cart around the grocery store though.

We love the Balloon Festival! Sad we didn't get to make it this year.
