Millie was dedicated at church today. It is a special time when Chris and I make a commitment to raise Millie up in the Church and to teach her about Christ. Neely Kate participated in the dedication along with us. Neely Kate was dedicated at a different church when she was three months old.

Our church makes dedication special and unique to each child. They say the child's full name and the meaning of each name along with its origin. They then select a bible verse based on the meaning of names. We received a certificate with all of it on there as well.
Neely Kate was well behaved for the most part. It is hard to be the first family to walk across out and have to stand up front until the last family is called. The pastor said a few words, but to be honest I'm not sure what he said because I wanted to make sure Neely Kate did not try to show off. She did have a captive audience and tried to sign to them. Millie was a perfect angel as usual.
